Black Orlon is a ladder polymer obtained by regulated pyrolysis of polyacrylonitrile. The structure of black orlon contains H,C and N atoms. Fibres of black orlon are highly tough and find applications in fibre reinforced plastics.

The vast majority of catalysts are prepared by Impregnation of the active metals on the compacted support. The metal-containing solutions and cosolutions are typically highly concentrated and stabilized by a diverse range of inorganic, as well as organic, additives. The Impregnation solution must be completely clear and stable on storage/transportation. The solution viscosity should also not be too high to prevent difficulties in the Impregnation process. Phosphoric acid, ammonia and H2O2 are amond the most frequently used inorganic additivies, if we give a example.

The sensor for the deflecting or swinging vane anemometer (Velometer) consist of a light weight vane positioned in a regtangular duct and mounted on a balanced taut-band suspension. Air from the probe passes through the instrument, striking the vane and causing an angular deflection that is proportional to air velocity. The cross sectional area of the tunnel in which vane moves expands, providing increased clearance at high velocities.
