The business plan
Management
The business plan is an essential element of
starling any business. It puts all of your ideas and research into one
organized report that explains the nature of your business. No matter how basic
and straightforward your idea is. you should always write a business plan.
Writing a plan actually generates new ideas and forces you to flesh out current
ones. A plan creates structure and organizes your thoughts: it should include
the main strategy and research you have accumulated. The plan will serve as an
operating manual when you start your business.

Directional Solidification
Manufacturing
In a conventional
procedure, metal is poured into a ceramic mold that is preheated to about half
the temperature of the melt and allowed to solidify. The resulting solid is
composed of relatively fine-grained crystals that are randomly oriented. In
contrast, the object of directional solidification is to orient the crystals
all in one direction. This is done by slowly cooling the melt from one end of
the mold to the other, thus the term directional. At the bottom of the mold is
a water-cooled copper chill plate on which the first crystals begin to grow. As
the entire mold is slowly lowered from the hot zone of a furnace, crystals
begin to grow in columns. A turbine blade produced in this manner is made up of
several long, columnar crystals, with roughly the same orientation, joined
together along planes aligned in the direction of extraction.

Laser-beam machining (LBM)
Manufacturig
The word laser stands for Light
Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. Laser beam machining is the
process in which the work material is melted and vapourised by means of an
intense monochromatic beam of light called the laser. Laser is an
electromagnetic radiation. It produces monochromatic light in the form of an
almost collimated beam to remove the material.
