@VISION CONTROL

Vision control may be counted between the latest developments of the automatic control technology. It operates on a fairly simple basis of a camera, relentlessly surveying the area of its concern with an untiring eye. The camera records everything it sees, shooting back the values thus obtained into the controlling software for evaluation. When the camera stops seeing the picture it is trained to see, or when the picture is somewhat changed, it immediately sends out the signal, or stops the press, stops the production, or stops anything that it is programmed to stop.
