Petri Nets (PNs)

Petri nets (PNs) are a graph-based mathematical formalism that allows to describe systems modeling casuality, concurrency and conflict relations among its events. In particular, PNs play an important role in the synthesis and verification of concurrent systems. PNs are applied, for example, to the synthesis and verification of digital asynchronous circuits, to model heterogeneos systems in hardware/software codesign frameworks, and to verify concurrent systems.

Resin Film Infusion (RFI)

In the resin film infusion (RFI) process, dry- fiber performs are placed into the mold with precast
or extruded resign films. Controlled heat and pressure are applied, generally in an autoclave.
Infusion parameters are established by a combination of experimental and modeling approaches.
This process result in high-quality, near- net- shaped parts that require only cleanup and limited
trim.

Electrolizing

The electrolizing process uniformly deposits a very dense, high chromium, nonmagnetic, hard
(70-72 Rc), proprietary alloy onto the part being treated. This alloy provides an unusual
combination of properties: wear resistance, low coefficient of friction, and a good sealant to the
covered surfaces.
Electrolizing involves cleaning the part by removing a surface layer from the base metal, and
form the base metal, and following with an electroplate which positively bonds the chromium
alloy to the porosity of the base metal.

Holographic Interference Solidification (HIS)

Holographic interference solidification is a subtitle of liquid base rapid prototyping process. In this
proces a holographic image is projected on a liquid photosensitive polymer contained in a vat such
that the entire surface of the polymer is solidified instead of poin by point solidification.
