Raw Material (matarial)
Old:
Raw materials are unprocessed extractive or
agricultural products - for example, mineral ore, timber, wheat, corn, fruits,
vegetables, and fish. Raw materials become part of finished products. Extensive
users, such as steel or lumber mills and food canners, generally buy huge
quantities of raw materials. Because there is often a large number of
relatively small sellers of raw materials, none can greatly influence price or
supply. Thus, the market tends to set the price of raw materials, and
individual producers have little pricing flexibility.

Improvement
in quality of raw materials plays the most decisive role in bringing about in
blast furnace productivity, coke rate and reduce the cost of hot metal
production. One of the most important features of raw material quality is their
consistency in terms of chemical composition, size distribution and physical
properties. while improvements in the absolute values of raw materials
characteristics are essential the minimization of variability in these
parameters is equally important. Improvement in raw material quality played a
major role in facilitating rapid growth in hot metal production .
Sinter,
iron ore and coke are the raw materials for blast furnace smelting.

POSITIVE AND NEGATİVE FEATURES: (product features)
OLD:
3-Positive Features:A positive feature is an
entity or a group of entities that are added to the existing model.Apparently,
the starting feature for a design model has to be a positive feature. A typical
positive feature is protrusion. Protrusions may come in four forms depending on
how they are constructed: extrude, revolve, sweep and blend.

MANUFACTURING, AND NUMERICAL CONTROL:PRINCIPLES AND IMPLEMENTATIONS-1st
Edition-Xun Xu-Chapter 7-P.150)
4-Negative Features:A negative feature is an entity or a group
of entities that are removed or subtracted from the existing model. Therefore,
they create depressions on a part. Cuts, slots and holes are some common types
of negative features.

The Coordinate System for NC Machine(SYSTEM)
Old:
A coordinate system should be defined before a motion statement is specified. On an NC machine, the directions of the coordinate axes are fixed. However, the origin of the coordinate system can be set at any desired position.A cutter motion can be corretly defined only after the origin of the coordinate system has been set at the right position. The code G92 is used to define the origin of a coordinate system with the following format

BCNL Effort:(
PROGRAMME LANGUAGE)
Old:
Base Numerical Control Language (BNCL) is based on a low-level simple instruction
set-like approach (Fortin, Chatelain & Rivest, 2004). The entire architecture is designed
around two concepts -- the BNCL Virtual Machine (BVM) and the BNCL Virtual Hardware
(BVH). The former acts as a virtual microprocessor and the latter is an abstraction
of the machine tool.

NEW: (BETTER)
BNCL is a newer effort in achieving CAM/CNC integration. The philosophy
of PNCL is abstraction of different machine tools in common manner. The
language offers some attractive features an open architecture e.g. flexibility
and extensibility. The BNCL architecture allows software development
portability and is able to support multiple programming languages. This leads
to creating flexible and efficient software architecture for machine tool
control.
