Gantry Robot:
A robot whose joints travel in right angle lines to each other.  There are no radial motions. The profile of
its work envelope represents a rectangular shape.  Also referred to as Gantry Robot.

A floor-mounted vehicle guided with rails by a robot.

Solid Ground Curing:
Developed by Cubital, solid ground curing (SGC) is somewhat similar to stereolithography (SLA) in that both use ultraviolet light to selectively harden photosensitive polymers. Unlike SLA, SGC cures an entire layer at a time. It is also known as the Solider process.

Local Area Networking:
Ethernet, now known as local area networking, allowed compatible
computers to work together.  Sharing files, resources and programs
would be the next big thing.
