Rapid Freeze Prototyping:

Rapid freeeze prototyping is a process that can make three dimensional ice parts of arbitrary geometry layer by layer by freezing of wather droplets.

Advantages and Disanvatages:

Low running costs , Good accuracy , Good bulidng speed ;

Requires a cold environment , Need additionla processing , Repeatability

(Rapid prototyping: principles and applications ; Chee Kai Chua,Kah Fai Leong,Chu Sing Lim , pg 93-94, Özgür Cebeci 030060158 )

Microfabrication :

Microfabrication is the collection of tchniques used to fabricate devices in micrometer range. It commonly used in microelectronics. Microfabrication processes consist of four basic operations :

High temperature processes to modify the substrate.

Thin film deposition on the substrate

Patterning of thin films and the subsrate

Bonding and layer transfer

Under each basic operation there are many specific tchnologies , which are sustainable for certain devices .

Demand Management:

A first basic consept to grasp is that demand management embodies much more than just developing a forecast of demand. According to Philip Kotler a respected thought leader on marketing management , demang management involves influencing the level , timing , and composition of demand. Demand management consists of the following elements:

Planning Demand , Communicating demand , Influencing demand , Managing and prioritizing demand

(Demand management best practices ; Colleen Crum,George E. Palmatier , pg . 10-11 ; Özgür Cebeci 030060158)

Hobbing:

Gear hobbing is a multipoint machining process in which gear teeth are progressively generated by a series of cuts with a helical cutting tool . Both the hob and workpiece revolve constandly as the hop is fed across the face width of the gear blank. With gear hobbing the cutting action is continuous , and as many as four or five teeth my be cut at the same time.
