The KK-3 system:
The kk-3 system is a general purpose system for parts that are to be machined or ground. It usesa21 digit decimal system. This code is much greater in length than the two previous systems described, but it classifies dimentions and dimentional ratios, such as the length to diameter of the part. The structure of a kk-3 system for rotational components.

Database Management System:
Many components either are standard components that are mass produced according to given design specification or are identical to parts used in previous design. Modern CAD systems thus have abuilt in database management system that allows designers to locate, wiev, and adopt parts from a stock part library.

Indirect labor cost:
These costs are generated in the servicing of the total manufacturing operatiıon consisting of such activities as supervision, repair, maintenance, quality control, engineering, research, and sales; it is also includes are cost of office staff. Because they do not contribute directly to the production of finished parts,or they are not chargeable to a specific product, these costs are referred to as overhead and are charged proportionally to all products.

The multiclass system:
The multiclass system was developed to help automate and standardize several design, production, and management functions and involves up to 30 digits. It is used interactively with a computer that asks the user a number of questions. On the basis of the answers given, the computer automatically assigns a code number to the part.
