Solid Ground Curing
Solid ground curing was developed by Cubital. SGC is a RP system that utilizies an ultraviolet light to cure each layer of liquid resin. In contrast of laser based system SGC process cures whole layer in one exposure, rather than tracing part with a beam. Ali K. Kamrani,Emad Abouel Nasr, Engineering Desing and Rapid Prototyping, P.345
Stereolitography
The technique where the energy is locally delivered to a tin layer of a solution of photopolymerisable polymers these are crosslinked on those programmed places thus creating a 2-D cross-section. A next layer of solution is deposited and the curing restarts adding more and more layers untill 3-D object finishined. Steven J. Barnes,Lawrence P. Harris, Tissue Engineering Roles, Materials and Applications. P. 157
UNISURF
In the middle of 1960s a system for designing and manufacturing cars using free form curves and surfaces was developed by P.Bezier at the Renault automabile company This computerized system named UNISUF, provides a genreral mathematical framework for defining arbitarily shaped curves and surfaces.

Design validation
a process that verifies whether the optimized product and process desing perform at a level that is consistent with costumer driven specifiacations.
