Artificial Intelligence:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is that part of computer science concerned with systems that exhibit some characteristics usually associated with intelligence in human behavior (such as learning,reasoning,problem solving,and understanding language). Industrial Robots:
Introduced in early 1960s, industrial robots have been replacing humans in operations that are repetitive, dangerous, and boring, thus reducing the possibility of human error, decreasing variability in product quality, and improving productivity.

Flexible Manufacturing Systems (FMS):
These systems integrate manufacturing cells into a large unit, all interfaced with a central computer.
